Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk have been the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. She was in 1997 when she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 and married with a civil ceremony the month of December in that same year. After she had converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge following on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its success.
