Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with the letters in uppercase as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry promoted her song Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano that was in the attic. In response to her mother's advice that her children should not be aiming at achieving fame through the songs she writes, but rather be aware of the significance of them and their impact on society. Her mother suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order in order to make people aware of their own importance and how they can affect the world. The family did not be aware until 14. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. The singer claims she is a fan of writing music. She claims that music is her preferred method to feel anything.
